Taste Around the Village to spotlight local Highland Village restaurants

Attendees can experience local Highland Village restaurants at Taste Around the Village on April 5.

The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Highland Village and will be at The Shops at Highland Village from 6-10 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy all-you-can-eat tastings from restaurants in and around Highland Village, complemented by a selection of beverages available for donations, according to the organization. The evening will also feature raffles, auctions and live entertainment. Among the local vendors expected are Shoal Creek Tavern, Lambeau’s America, Torchy’s Tacos, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Awesome Times.

Taste Around the Village aims to showcase the city’s culinary scene, bolster local businesses and contribute to charitable causes, according to the organization.The fundraising event will benefit five local organizations:

• Ranch Hands Rescue
• Bob’s House of Hope
• Children Advocacy Center of North Texas
• Rise Adaptive Sports
• CASA for Children in Denton County

Also of note

Admission is $50 per ticket and covers food tasting. A $5 donation is required for alcoholic drinks. Sponsorships are also available.
