Now open
The Aspen Gift House is now open in The Shops at Highland Village.
The shop offers tumblers, bags, candles, vases, stuffed animals and other gifts inspired by a natural French style, according to the business's website.
The Aspen Gift House opened in early July and plans to hold a grand opening at the end of July or beginning of August, employee Abby Herrington said.
A new hair salon, Blo Blow Dry Bar, is now welcoming customers, owner Amber Sams said.
The business offers makeup services, blowouts, extensions and custom looks, Sams said. Customers can also plan private birthday or wedding parties in the space.
A grand opening, including live music, a bartender and food from a local vendor will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 24.
Paris Baguette in Flower Mound opened in July, serving European-style cakes and pastries.
The cafe serves baked goods such as specialty croissants, donuts, danishes and sandwiches. The bakery also has coffees and smoothies.
The cafe held a ribbon cutting July 10, per the news release.
A new indoor golf club for all skill levels, The Back Nine Golf, is open to the public in Flower Mound, co-owner Reagan Bluth said in an email.
Golfers can practice and play games or a full round of golf within the indoor facility, Bluth said. The facility offers 24/7 access through contactless check-in and four private, sound-insulated bays, Bluth added.
Bluth added that the business plans to host a grand opening July 19 that will include free lunch, competitions and games. The Back Nine Golf is also selling founding memberships for the first 50 members.
Coming soon
Raagaleena Dance Academy is opening a location in Northlake this summer, according to a company representative.
The business offers lessons in classical Indian dance for a range of skill levels from beginner to advanced students. It also has locations in Irving and McKinney.
What’s next
CVS Pharmacy is coming soon to Northlake, per a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
It will offer over-the-counter medication, prescription medication, household items, groceries, and photo development services.
Construction is expected to begin in November and wrap up in May 2026. The 12,651 square-foot building is expected to cost $4 million.
Relocation
Baylor Scott & White Cardiovascular Consultants
A Baylor Scott & White Cardiovascular Consultants clinic relocated to Highland Village from Flower Mound in early July.
The clinic will provide comprehensive heart and vascular disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment options. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Francesca’s moved within the same shopping center to a larger space across from Compass Real Estate in mid-June, according to a news release by The Shops at Highland Village.
The fashion retailer offers women’s apparel, accessories and gifts and its new location will allow for a larger display section of these items.
The boutique also has locations in Arlington, Plano and Dallas.
