Georgetown ISD names new elementary school after Georgetown suffragist Jessie Daniel Ames

Georgetown ISD has named its twelfth elementary school after Jessie Daniel Ames, a Texas suffragist and anti-lynching activist with deep ties to the Georgetown community.
