1. Industrial buildings in Denton
TDLR documents show that three industrial buildings are scheduled to start construction later this summer near I-35 and North Elm Street. The buildings are intended for industrial, office and warehouse use, according to city documents. The three buildings have a combined construction cost of $24 million and will cover roughly 750,000 square feet.

2. Kaleidoscope Park expansion
Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco will undergo an expansion that will add a 1,500-square-foot platform and an LED screen, according to documents filed with the TDLR. The park opened in October 2024 and features public art, a walking trail, and hosts several events, including film screenings and concerts.

3. Park Place amenity center
A new amenity center in the Park Place neighborhood in Prosper is set to start construction in mid-July, TDLR documents state. The amenity center will cost $3.7 million and cover just over 5,000 square feet.

4. Firetrol office remodel
Dallas-based fire suppression supplier Firetrol will remodel a Richardson office, according to TDLR documents. The roughly $630,000 project is scheduled to take place between June and September. Firetrol opened for business in 1984 and provides design and installation services for fire suppression equipment, including sprinklers, alarms, fire extinguishers and emergency lights, the company website states.

5. Radiology room addition at Scottish Rite for Children
The children’s hospital in Frisco will convert one of its waiting areas to a radiology room, according to TDLR documents. Scottish Rite for Children offers treatment for fractures, sports medicine and orthopedic services.
