The Denton Arts & Jazz Festival will now be in September and move to the North Texas Fairgrounds for the 2026 festivities, according to a social media post from the organization

The event, which will be celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, will have more space for art, dancing and vendors, according to the post. The North Texas Fairgrounds has 33 acres of space and can hold five outdoor stages, according to the organization’s website.
“The 35th anniversary is an important moment in the festival’s history,” Kevin Lechler, the festival’s executive director, said in a news release Feb. 10. “Moving to the North Texas Fairgrounds allows us to build on the festival’s legacy while creating an even more welcoming and dynamic experience for our audiences and partners.”
