The project spanning from Wentworth Drive to Sheffield Drive will cost $2.55 million. Richardson City Council approved a contract for the work during its Oct. 20 meeting.
The specifics
The project will include concrete panel replacement and sewer replacement on the section of Richland Park Drive from Stillmeadow Drive to Tiffany Trail. Pavement, waterline and sewer lines will be replaced on the roadway from Sheffield Drive to Tiffany Trail and Stillmeadow Drive to Wentworth Drive.
The project aims to replace 8,500 square yards of concrete pavement, sidewalks and pedestrian ramps, along with the installation of 2,000 feet of sanitary sewer line, 300 feet of storm drain line and 1,700 feet of water line, according to city documents.

The project is funded by the 2021 city bond and is expected to be completed by summer 2026, according to city documents.
