Work by The Texas Department of Transportation continues on an overhaul of the US 75 interchange with President George Bush Turnpike.

As of Sept. 27, crews were working on installing structural concrete and excavating the ground between the frontage road and US 75, a spokesperson with TxDOT said. Work is also continuing on the Plano Parkway bridge, which by the project’s end will be fully rebuilt. New access ramps to and from the turnpike and additional lanes along US 75 are also part of the overall plans. TxDOT estimates the project is 77 percent complete.

The $37 million project began in May 2016 and is slated for completion in February. Funding for the project is sourced through TxDOT and the North Texas Toll Association.
