Dec. 23-Jan. 4: Take a festive photo

More than 500,000 holiday lights, including icicle-style lights in the trees, illuminate CityLine Plaza for visitors to enjoy through Jan. 4. Dec. 31-Jan. 22: See a noir-style play

Pegasus Theatre is holding special performances of noir play “The Dimension of Death” in the Bank of America Theatre at the Eisemann Center. The play will feature three men in 1955 who have been dispatched to a top-secret U.S. Air Force base where “bodies start piling up.” Pegasus Theatre presents all their plays in black, white and shades of gray to mimic the look of an old black-and-white film coming to life on stage, according to the event description. Jan. 11: Learn how to use video services in business

Harper Belmont Media is hosting a free workshop at the Drawing Board in Richardson to teach businesses how to incorporate video in their work. According to the event’s description, using video as a marketing tool can be a powerful way to grow a business, including as a tool for information, entertainment and online advertisement. Jan. 28: Learn the process of 3D printing

An introduction to 3D printing class will be held at the Richardson Public Library. The hands-on class will teach attendees on how to use the 3D-modeling program Tinkercad, how to export a 3D model for printing and how to print on the library’s 3D printer. Jan. 29: Attend an orchestra concert

The Lone Star Wind Orchestra is scheduled to put on a performance with Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon at the Eisemann Center to celebrate the new year. The main program, named “Rhapsodies in Blue,” will incorporate three works of music, per the event’s description. The concert program also includes a performance of Julie Giroux’s “Symphony No. 6.” Tickets are available online. 3 p.m. $22-$42.
