State publishes spring STAAR results for Richardson ISD

Richardson ISD's state assessment scores were released Aug. 15.

The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR, test elementary and junior high students for reading and mathematics proficiency. Certain grades are also tested in writing, social studies and science.

High school students are tested in algebra, biology, English and history.

Here is a look at how RISD students fared on spring tests, according to Texas Student Assessments.
