Shady’s Burgers & Brewhaha, a neighborhood restaurant and bar, is celebrating its 10th anniversary March 31-April 2. The Richardson burger joint, which is located at 2701 Custer Parkway, Ste. 915, first opened April 1, 2013, in the Canyon Creek neighborhood.

Shady’s, which also has a location in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas, is a casual dining restaurant and bar that serves scratch food, local beers and cocktails, according to a press release.

“We set out 10 years ago to build a neighborhood place, with a great patio, that served a variety of fresh dishes and cold beverages,” Shady’s partner Don Bouvier said in a statement. “We are excited to reach this milestone and [are] looking forward to another 10.”

Both Shady’s locations will celebrate all weekend long with giveaways, drawings, new merchandise, music and more.

Shady’s will kick off the anniversary weekend March 31 with a continuous happy hour that will run through Sunday evening. The burger restaurant will have music performances throughout Saturday in both locations, with the Captain & Camille Band performing during the evening at the Canyon Creek location.

In addition, Shady’s will be introducing a new light lager, known as the Slim Shady’s, that has been created by Oak Highlands Brewery in honor of the anniversary.

“We are excited to introduce this new flavorful beer, bearing our name, to our customers and friends,” Bouvier said in the statement.
