A new art installation will be unveiled at the Eisemann Center on March 6.

The modular sculptural installation, titled “MotherBoard,” commemorates Richardson’s accomplishments and technological contributions to the world, according to a Feb. 10 announcement.

The sculpture was commissioned by the Eisemann Center and funded through the Eisemann Edge Endowment, a fund that supports visual arts exhibits and performances.

This is the first exhibit created through the fund, which launched in March 2019 as a partnership between the Eisemann Center and The School of Arts, Technology and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas.

An unveiling reception will be held at the Eisemann Center on March 6 at 7 p.m.
