Several lanes will close in Prosper and Celina as work continues to extend the Dallas North Tollway, according to a social media post by the North Texas Tollway Authority.

The northbound and southbound left lane of Dallas Parkway from First Street to FM 428 will be closed daily between Nov. 10-15. All lanes of eastbound and westbound Light Farms Way between northbound and southbound Dallas Parkway will close Nov. 11.

All lanes of eastbound and westbound Frontier Parkway between northbound and southbound Dallas Parkway will close nightly from Nov. 12-14. All lanes of eastbound and westbound Prosper Trail between north and southbound Dallas Parkway will close nightly Nov. 14 and 15.

What else?

The closures are part of a $460 million North Texas Tollway Authority project to extend the Dallas North Tollway by 13.7 miles north of US 380. The work is meant to help accommodate population growth in the area.
