Arizona Drive street maintenance

The project: Arizona Drive construction is part of a greater downtown redevelopment project. Work will include reconstructing the roads from Ash Street to Cedar Street.

Preston Road lighting installations

The project: This is the third phase of lighting installation for Preston Road.

The update: The project is on track to finish by the beginning of the summer, according to the city’s capital improvement projects dashboard.

Bothwell Boulevard median lighting installation

The project: Bothwell Boulevard, which is located inside the Sutton Fields development, has regular residential lighting on the sides but not arterial lighting, according to an April 9 Celina City Council presentation. Adding lighting to the median would take 75 days and includes installing light poles, luminaries, conduits and meters along the road.


The update: Celina City Council members chose to table a contract for the street construction after debating whether the city should be responsible for the project during an April 9 meeting. An update on the project is expected at a future meeting.
