Members of First Celina Baptist Church will soon have an updated worship center as renovations are expected to be completed soon, Senior Pastor Kevin Lykins said in an email.

“The renovation includes a lot of cosmetic updates but significant upgrades in the worship center itself,” Lykins said. “Those include new theater seating, which increases our seating to 715 seats.”

The worship center was built in 1998, and other renovations include all-new audio-visual and lighting equipment, an open ceiling, speakers, and an LED screen wall as well as remodeling the backstage area.

Lykins said the construction is expected to be completed by March 31 and be ready for Easter services.
