The town of Prosper is taking another step toward the creation of the Doe Branch Community Park.
The overview
Prosper Town Council approved an agreement for design services and the creation of a master plan with engineering and design firm Kimley-Horn Jan. 28. The agreement, which is not to exceed $134,600, is to create a plan for the park and estimate the probable cost for construction to create the proposed 162-acre park.
The future park has 0.17 miles of existing trails and is part of a greater plan to develop Prosper’s parks. Current plans include constructing a 10-foot-wide hike and bike trail to connect neighborhoods on either side of the property.
