With all Denton and Collin county precincts reporting, Shea Scott, running for Place 4, and Shane Lambert, running for Place 5, won their respective races for Celina City Council.

Scott won with 907 votes, or nearly 51%, while Katie Dunn garnered 875 votes, or 49%, after initially leading in the race.
Lambert won 1,211 votes, or 69%, while Brent Baty secured 543 votes, or 31%, according to unofficial county results.
"I'm excited, [and] I'm thankful," Lambert said.
Lambert said his first priority will be to learn and ask questions as he settles into office.

Unofficial county voting results show Shea Scott is now leading in the Celina City Council Place 4 seat, with Katie Dunn trailing just behind.

According to unofficial voting results from Denton and Collin counties, Scott has received 906 votes, or nearly 51%, while Dunn has received 874 votes, or just over 49%.
Shane Lambert has remained in the lead for the Place 5 seat with 1,209 votes, or 69%, while Brent Baty has received 543 votes, or 31%.
All precincts are reporting for the Celina City Council races in Denton County, while 18 of 21 vote centers are reporting in Collin County.

Denton and Collin counties have released early voting totals showing Dunn is in the lead for the Celina City Council Place 4 race with 535 votes, or 51%, while Shea Scott is trailing with 507 votes, or 49%.
In the Place 5 race, Lambert is leading with 671 votes, or 65%, while Brent Baty has received 359 votes, or 35%.

In early voting, 37,566 registered voters cast a ballot in Denton County, totaling 6.49% of registered county voters. In Collin County, there were 18,321 ballots cast, representing just over 4% of registered voters in the county.
