Bill Beavers*

Experience: Sales

Occupation: First elected to the board in 2018, current Prosper ISD school board President, past VP and Secretary

Why are you running?

I am running to maintain the level of excellence we have in Prosper ISD. The Prosper ISD community works hard to get here, and their expectations are understandably high. I want district leadership, teachers and students to feel supported as we continue to build the best school district in Texas!

What are you hoping to accomplish if you are elected?

My plan is to continue to work alongside our administration to ensure that our community is getting the very best of everything. My goal is to continue to support our students by supporting their teachers and our district leadership.

What are the top issues Prosper ISD is facing in the coming years?

1. Student success - provide students with the best opportunities for future success, including course offerings such as dual credit, AP and CTE courses. 2. Teacher hiring and retention - attract and retain the very best for the students of Prosper ISD. 3. Continued good stewardship of district resources and tax dollars.

Lanford Rodgers

Occupation: Insurance Agent

Why are you running?

As a product of public education, I believe in it and understand the challenges in public education. I want to make PISD the premiere educational institution and provide a safe environment for students and staff. Bring back students whose parents took them out for an unsafe environment, non equitable, etc.

What are you hoping to accomplish if you are elected?

If elected, I would like to focus more on education programs, engineering, FAA, expand mock trials and career technical programs. I want the students to be prepared to compete globally.

What are the top issues Prosper ISD is facing in the coming years?

Growth, attracting and retaining teachers, athletic budget cuts and making sure code of conduct is equally distributed and followed. Some parents lack trust in PISD.
