Registration for new and returning students is now open for Celina and Prosper ISDs for the 2024-25 school year.

What parents should know

Celina ISD

Registration for returning students will be completed through the Skyward Family Access platform prior to the beginning of the school year. New students must create a family enrollment account through Skyward to begin the online enrollment process.

Required documents for new and returning students include:
  • Birth certificate or passport
  • Immunization records
  • Parent or guardian’s driver’s license or government issued identification
  • Proof of residency, including electric or water bill, current lease agreement or closing documents
Class rosters and course schedules cannot be finalized until the student registration forms have been submitted and accepted, according to a district news release. Families can contact their respective campuses for additional information.

Prosper ISD

Returning families will use Skyward Family Access to verify demographic information and complete the annual registration forms.


Families new to PISD must create an enrollment account to begin the registration process.

A child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to enter kindergarten and 6 years old on or before Sept. 1 to enter first grade. Qualification requirements for the district’s prekindergarten program can be found here.

Required documents for students include:
  • Parent or guardian’s driver license or passport
  • Proof of residency, including a current gas, electric or water bill; closing documents or a signed lease agreement
  • Student’s birth certificate or passport
  • Updated immunization records
