Nearly 4,000 Prosper ISD students started the 2023-24 school year Aug. 9.

For PISD, four new campuses opened for the first time this school year including Dan Christie Elementary School in Celina.

Christie Elementary School is the district’s 17th elementary school, and it opened on the west side of the district in the Sutton Fields development.

Here are some more important dates to know for Prosper ISD students.
  • Thanksgiving break: Nov. 20-24
  • Winter break: Dec. 18-Jan. 2
  • Spring break: March 11-15
  • Last day of school: May 22
