Academy Sports + Outdoors is building a new location in Celina, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The new location will be about 63,834 and cost some $6.7 million to construct, according to the filing. Construction is expected to begin in September and be completed in 2026.

The business offers sporting and outdoors equipment such as tennis shoes, hunting gear, tents and more.
