Celina Chamber of Commerce President Melissa Cromwell resigned from her position, according to a June 24 Chamber news release.

The gist

Cromwell has been with the Chamber since 2014. The news release did not include a reason for the resignation.

“The Chamber Board will work diligently to identify, interview, and hire a new president who will lead our Chamber through some of Celina’s greatest days of growth and prosperity. We are proud of our past, and we know our most exciting days are before us,” according to the release.

As of June 24, there is no official timeline for finding a replacement. The Chamber’s board of directors will be in charge of identifying, interviewing and hiring the next president, according to the release.
