The hotel will be the first to open in Prosper, said Mary Ann Moon, Prosper Economic Development Corporation executive director, in an email. The hotel will be Residence Inn by Marriott with an estimated 126 rooms.
The $26 million hotel will be located north of US 380 near Windsong Ranch and the future Costco site, according to an Atlantic Hotels news release.
The construction groundbreaking and opening date are unknown at this time, Moon said.
