1. Celina Fire Station No. 3

Celina officials plan to unveil the city’s third fire station at two events in the first week of April.

Fire Station No. 3, located at the intersection of Ballenger Road and FM 1385, is the city’s first fire station west of Dallas Parkway. The events are planned for April 4 and April 6, Communications Director Joe Monaco said. The April 6 event will be for residents of the Sutton Fields neighborhood, which is directly beneath the new station.2. Kumon


The learning center will help kids master math and reading, build study skills, and reduce test anxiety, according to the website. The center is offering virtual classes until the physical location opens.3. Methodist Family Health Center

The medical clinic will be staffed by board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Annie Nguyen. The clinic will look similar to the Methodist Family Health Center in Prosper.4. Original ChopShop

The menu includes protein bowls, such as the hot honey chicken and hummus bowl, as well as wraps and sandwiches. Original ChopShop will also serve fresh juice, superfruit bowls and parfaits. The restaurant is part of The Crossing at Moore Farms, a 77-acre mixed-use development that will include several other restaurants and retail stores.In the news

5. 7 Brew Coffee


The drive-thru coffee shop offers drip coffee, specialty drinks, cold brew, lemonade and more. An exact opening is unknown, and company representatives did not return a request for comment, but documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate construction on the project will wrap up in August.6. Collin College

The college is set to expand its athletic offerings over the next two years, according to a school news release. Over the next two years, the college will add esports, golf and volleyball programs. Esports, and men’s and women’s golf are set to start next school year, with women’s volleyball set to follow in 2025-26.
