2. Apricot Lane Boutique


The store will offer a “unique boutique experience,” according to the company’s website, and will sell women’s apparel and accessories.3. The Gents Place

The barber shop will offer a variety of services, including a seven-course option that includes a consultation, a haircut, a hand massage and more. The shop will also offer nail care procedures, shaves, and shoe and boot polishes. The company is still negotiating a lease, a company representative said in an email, so an exact address is not available at this time.4. Black Rock Coffee Bar

Along with coffee, the shop will serve tea, smoothies and other specialty drinks. Black Rock is part of The Crossing at Moore Farms, a 77-acre mixed-use development that will include several other restaurants and retail stores. A company representative said it will open next year.

5. Costco Wholesale

The big-box store will be under construction throughout 2024 and is slated to be completed later this year, according to signage at the construction site. An opening date has yet to be announced. The store offers products at low warehouse prices, according to its website.

6. Lone Star Vision

The facility, previously located at 1060 S. Preston Road, offers several eye care services, including eye exams, vision therapy, contact lens fitting and more.7. Sylvan Learning of Celina

The learning center is locally owned by Shanna and Corey Miller. Shanna Miller is an educator with more than a decade of experience in Frisco ISD teaching secondary science, according to a news release. The owners opened a permanent location for Sylvan Learning in Celina Town Center after operating out of a temporary location for several months, the release states.In the news

8. Hillwood Communities


Ground is scheduled to break in late 2024 on a new residential community in Celina, according to a Jan. 30 news release. The community, called Ramble by Hillwood, spans 1,380 acres between Preston Road and Custer Road, about 2 miles north of downtown Celina. About 700 homes will be delivered in the first phase.
