A Kampgrounds of America is expected to open in Celina, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit.

The permit shows the campground is being constructed in Celina. The construction was estimated to start in August 2023 and will be completed by March 2024, according to the permit.

The park, according to the permit, includes an administration building with a pool, splash pad and seating area.
