Weather permitting, construction crews will shut down the Ohio Drive and Rasor Boulevard intersection on April 8 to begin emergency repairs on a water-main leak.
The city is asking drivers to seek alternative routes during the repairs, which could last for days or weeks depending on the extend of the repairs. Any vehicles approaching the intersection will be required to turn right.
The leak is located at the center of the intersection, according to a city news release. The intersection will be closed for the duration of the repairs, which will require crews to expose the leaking water main to determine the extent of their work.
"The repair may be a simple fix or it may require weeks to complete," city spokesperson Steve Stoler said in an email.
