Park Blvd., Ste. 110, Plano. At Dugg Burger, guests pay first and then select from 12 toppings. The restaurant reverses the burger-building process by digging out the top portion of the bun for customers to customize his or her burger. The fast-casual restaurant will also serve french fries, milkshakes and a rotating selection of local craft beers. The concept originated roughly three years ago from a few friends who used their food industry experience to create their own branch, said Greg Watson, head of operations for the new Plano restaurant. The group opened its first restaurant near the Dallas Arboretum in east Dallas about a year ago. "We'd always bounce ideas off of each other ... and decided to really do it," he said. "It's been fantastic and that's why we had the confidence to come out here. We're so happy with the food and the service model that we didn't want to keep it all to ourselves."
