Fast-casual restaurant PDQ is set to open its 50
th restaurant nationwide Dec. 13 at 1151 Preston Road. The location is the first in Plano and the third in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
PDQ specializes in hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches, fresh-cut fries and hand-spun milkshakes with dine-in, drive thru or catering options. The 3,300 square-foot restaurant also offers 12 signature dipping sauces and salad dressings made daily in-house.
“With restaurants already established in both Frisco and Murphy, bringing the PDQ brand to North Texas has proven a great success,” Chief Marketing and PR Officer Jeff Kamis said in a news release. “The Dallas-Fort Worth area is a strong market and we plan to continue to expand PDQ throughout this community in the near future.”
The grand opening event begins at 10:30 a.m. complete with live entertainment, balloon artists and more. The restaurant will be open seven days a week from
10:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
