As of May 29, there have been 397 confirmed cases of coronavirus across the six Plano ZIP codes in both Collin and Denton counties, according to health officials.

Plano has 274 recovered cases, as well as 10 deaths, according to Collin County and Denton County's online dashboards. The most recent death of a 63-year-old woman with underlying health conditions was reported May 29.

There are 109 active cases across the city and six remain hospitalized.

Collin County identified 42 new cases of the virus May 29. The county has 911 recovered cases, as well as 333 active cases.

A total of 1,278 positive cases of the virus have been reported since testing began in March. 19 of the total are hospitalized, while 314 remain in home isolation.


There have been 16,593 negative COVD-19 tests in Collin County and there are 2,270 people being monitored for coronavirus May 29.
