An additional 32 cases of coronavirus, including six in Plano, were reported by Collin County health officials May 26.

The county has 311 active cases of the virus, with 102 in Plano.

Plano has had 368 confirmed cases in Collin and Denton counties.

Of Plano's 364 Collin County cases, 253 have recovered, and 10 are hospitalized. All four of the city's Denton County cases have recovered.

Since testing began in mid-March, there have been 1,189 confirmed positive cases in Collin County and 1,255 confirmed in Denton County.


845 Collin County residents have successfully recovered, while 20 are hospitalized and 291 remain in home isolation. Denton County has seen 636 recoveries.

There have been 15,868 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 2,071 people being monitored for the virus.

As of May 26, there have been 33 deaths of a person who had tested positive for coronavirus in Collin County, including nine Plano deaths. There have been 30 total deaths in Denton County, with none in Plano.
