Kayci PrinceWhy are you running for City Council?

I've made the decision to run for Plano City Council Place 4 because I'm passionate about ensuring that the next generation of Plano citizens have a vibrant place to work and call home.

Why are you qualified for this position?

As a life-long Plano resident, now working in Plano, attending church in Plano, and raising a family in Plano, I respect Plano's proud history and the incredible work and leadership it took to make our city great. I also have a vision for where we need to go to remain a vibrant city 30 years from now. My extensive volunteer experience on more than 10 boards and organizations throughout our city has given me a broad view of the people in our city and how our city operates. Combining that knowledge with my business experience prepares me well for the strategic decision making that is required of our city council members.

What are your platforms?

Great people are the core of any great community, and Plano has many of them. I plan to focus on solving issues that will enhance the quality of life for our people, improving mobility, revitalizing mature areas of the city, and maintaining and enhancing the already high level of police and fire-rescue services that our citizens have come to appreciate.
