Pet training center The Dog Wizard is now open in Plano, owner Kari Butler said.

The center offers obedience training programs, including group, private and day training, as well as a boarding program where the pet stays with the trainer or at the training facility to undergo an immersive program for a week or more, according to the company website. The Dog Wizard also offers behavioral problem services addressing socialization, separation anxiety, aggression and more.

The company provides a balanced training approach with a methodology that has been tested for over 15 years, Butler said. Dogs who graduate through the training programs can return once a month for support training at no additional cost.
