Construction work along Park Boulevard between Plano’s west city limits and Preston Road has been delayed to finish in late August.

Two-minute impact

Drew Zaeske, public works community investment program manager, said while the original project was expected to be completed July 11, the city anticipates work to wrap up Aug. 29.

Plano has been working to make the city’s roads last longer by adding new layers over repaired concrete through arterial overlay projects.

The concrete replacement project for this segment of Park Boulevard began in April 2024 and has a total cost of $2.085 million, according to the city’s community investment program report.
