The centers will offer patients medical appointments, dental services and mental health care.

According to Walmart officials, the goal of the centers is to provide a high level of care through “accessible, convenient and affordable health care" in one convenient location.

In addition to 150 new health care jobs, indirectly related jobs in construction and technology will be created, according to Walmart officials.

The retailer recently announced it will add 28 new health center locations, which includes the local area locations, in 2024.

In addition to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Walmart Health is expanding in Houston, Kansas City and Oklahoma City markets.

By the end of 2024, there will be more than 75 Walmart Health centers across the United States, Walmart officials stated.
