Coyote Creek Park in Plano will be closed starting May 15 for several months for irrigation and landscape improvements, per city officials.

What you need to know

The project will include:
  • Irrigation system replacement
  • Field grading to address drainage issues
  • Installing erosion controls along trail embankments
  • Tree planting
  • Turf replacement
  • New baseball backstop
The approach

Work is expected to continue through December.

The project is funded through the city’s Community Investment Program.

Residents are asked to visit Sunset Park or Windhaven Meadows Park while the renovation work is taking place.
