Early voting began April 24 and runs through May 2 for Plano City Council and Plano ISD races.

Polls are open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through April 29 and from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 1-2.

City Council Places 1, 3, 5 and 7 are on the ballot. All City Council places are elected at large. Candidates for places 1 and 3 must reside in their respective districts.

Places 4, 5 and 7 are on the ballot for the PISD school board race. Candidates for the school board run for specific places, but they do not represent specific geographical areas. Each one represents PISD at large.

Voters in Collin County may cast a ballot at any polling location during early voting and on election day. Denton County voters may cast a ballot at any polling location for early voting but must vote at their assigned precinct on election day. April 26 is the last day to apply for a ballot by mail. May 6 is election day and the postmark deadline for mail ballots.
