Boo Bash 2023

The event is held annually in October and features a carnival-like atmosphere with games and candy. Families can enter for free with a canned food donation and don their Halloween costumes for a night of trick-or-treating. Central market is providing Plano residents with the opportunity to build creepy gingerbread houses this fall. The event will provide purple, black and orange royal icing, and mountains of creepy candy. Instructors will offer a few suggestions and guidelines on making royal icing. Guests will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the cooking school. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and wear costumes.Halloween Bash at the Boardwalk


The Boardwalk at Granite Park's annual Halloween event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities. Trick or treaters are invited to come collect candy from the area's six restaurants, and there will also be balloon artists, a DJ, a haunted mansion and more.November

Happy Hour Hike 2023

Plano residents can enjoy a sip-and-shop where they sample drinks and food, receive exclusive offers at shops and restaurants, and enjoy entertainment throughout the Legacy West neighborhood. There will also be photo-ops, local artisans and nonprofits, and a chance to win a $300 gift basket to a chosen store. Guests will check in near Visit Plano located in the center of Legacy West, and receive a collectible tasting glass and map before setting off.

Plano Flags of Honor

Plano is expressing gratitude to veterans and first responders by covering a field with over 1,000 3-by-5-foot American flags. Families can observe the field and reflect from Nov. 4 to Veterans Day, Nov. 11. A dedication card will hang on each flag that reflects the service given by the honoree and tells the story of heroes whose lives were devoted in service. At dusk each day, guests will hear the sound of a military bugle as they walk the field. Attendees can get a preview of the field from a tethered hot air balloon ride Nov. 3.Deaf Theatre's 'It’s a Wonderful Life'


North Texas Performing Arts Deaf Theatre is putting on a production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Willow Bend Center for the Arts. The show follows the story of George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. These programs are adapted for actors who are Deaf or hard of hearing with an innovative method of combining language to tell stories on stage. Deaf and hearing actors will work together to portray characters in the production with a performance that will be enjoyed by Deaf and hearing audiences alike.

Large Fluid Art Workshop
