Through a series of brainstorming sessions, the school board and district leaders have identified three key areas for public input.
The areas of discussion include a new Career and Technical Education center, which is covered by the district’s recent bond.
Another key area is classroom technology, which could potentially be funded through recently passed bond propositions.
A third topic is advanced academics, special education and multilingual programs.
Community members may attend any one of a series of three upcoming meetings that are being held throughout the district’s attendance area. Each meeting will follow the same format.
The meetings are scheduled as follows:
- March 15, 7-8 p.m., McMillen High School, 750 N. Murphy Road, Murphy
- March 18, 9-10 a.m., Vines High School, 1401 Highedge Drive, Plano
- March 21, 7-8 p.m., Shepton High School, 5505 Plano Parkway, Plano
