A new beer garden patio was added to Bavarian Grill in Plano in early April, according to a spokesperson for the restaurant.

The new patio offers around 80 seats and features large trees, bushes and other greenery, owner Juergen Mahneke said.

Leashed, friendly dogs are also welcome on the patio, Mahneke said.

The restaurant, located at 3425 Premier Drive, has served authentic Bavarian food, beer, German wine and schnapps for the past 30 years in Plano.

Dozens of different types of German beer are available, and each one is served in the proper glassware, Mahneke said.

Mahneke added the sausages and schnitzel are the restaurant’s most popular dishes.
