Christmas tree recycling will be available in Plano throughout the holiday season.

Live Christmas trees can be dropped off at Jack Carter Park, Old Shepard Place Park, Russell Creek Park or Schell Park from Dec. 26-Jan. 2, according to the city’s website.

All decorations, including ornaments, tinsel and fake snow, must be removed from the trees. All recycled live greenery will become Texas Pure Products mulch and compost.
