The city of Plano will be operating on altered facility hours through the holidays, according to the city’s website.

No yard trimming collection will occur between Christmas and New Year’s Day, trash and recycling pick up will be pushed back one day during the weeks of Dec. 26-30 and Jan. 2-6, and several city facilities will close during the holidays.

  • Day Labor Center: closed Dec. 24-26, Jan. 2
  • High Point Tennis Center: closed Dec. 25, Jan. 1; open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 24, Dec. 31
  • Household Chemical Reuse Center: normal schedule
  • Interurban Railway Museum: normal schedule
  • Jack Carter Pool: closed for season
