Individuals wishing to weigh in on the fiscal year 2024-25 budget will have the opportunity to do so at an upcoming Plano town hall meeting.

Plano City Council will host the annual budget town hall at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Davis Library, which is located at 7501-B Independence Parkway.

The big picture

During the meeting, Director of Budget and Research Karen Rhodes-Whitley will provide an overview of the proposed $756.1 million budget and Community Investment Program. The proposed Community Investment Program includes funding for various street, water and sewer, and park projects throughout the city.
