Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange will host Christmas Cottage Open House Dec. 2 at 815 S. Main St., Grapevine. Christmas Cottage is a GRACE program that provides new and unwrapped gifts to families facing financial hardship due to limited income or a recent emergency. Refreshments and Christmas cheer will be provided. Holiday goodies will be served for the children at 4 p.m., with wine and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gifts to children and families in need. Click here for a comprehensive list of toy ideas for all age groups. Gifts can be dropped off at Donation Station or GRACE Main, 610 Shady Brook Drive in Grapevine. The Christmas Cottage program will be open Dec. 8-22. GRACE also has a food program for the holidays. The GRACE Holiday Food program exists to serve those in need by providing warm meals for families to enjoy over the holidays. Each food basket includes a turkey, fruits, vegetables and kitchen staples for at least four meals. The approximate value of each basket is $75. Donated items can be dropped off at the GRACE Food Pantry, 837 E. Walnut St., Grapevine, on or before Nov. 20 for Thanksgiving and Dec. 17 for Christmas.
