1. Panther Creek Parkway widening
Panther Creek Parkway will be widened from two lanes to four lanes from east of Preston Road to Honey Grove Drive. The project is still in the design phase and is expected to begin construction by summer 2017.

2. 4th Army Drive extension
Construction is nearing completion on the new two-lane connection from Lebanon Road to the existing driveway entrance of the Stewart Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The design is almost complete to reconstruct the roadway from SCWTP to Timber Ridge Drive. The project includes reconstructing the roadway with two lanes of concrete pavement and adding a bridge over Stewart Creek.

3. Custer Road widening
Construction continues on Custer Road from SH 121 to Stonebridge Drive to widen the roadway from four to six lanes. The project, which is 30 percent complete, began in January and is expected to be complete by the end of this year. The project includes widening the bridge on the roadway and modifying traffic signals.

4. Gaylord and John Hickman parkways extensions
Construction continues for the new four-lane roadway extensions for Gaylord and John Hickman parkways that will run inside The Star in Frisco development. Gaylord Parkway will extend from Warren Parkway to John Hickman Parkway. John Hickman Parkway will extend from Dallas Parkway to Lebanon Road. The project will be complete when the first phase of The Star development is complete.

5. Coit Road and Westridge Boulevard construction
Construction has yet to begin to extend Coit Road and widen Westridge Boulevard to four lanes. The design phase completed in March and construction is expected to begin in June. The extension of Coit Road stretches from Panther Creek to Rockhill parkways. The project includes paving and installing water lines to support the expansion of the adjacent Avondale neighborhood at the northeast corner of Coit Road and Westridge Boulevard.
