McKinney debuts Neighborhood Night at the Movies spring lineup

Spring is here and with it comes the start of fresh lineup of movies for McKinney's Neighborhood Night at the Movies.

The free family movie nights occur April 10, 17, and 24 and rotate between three city parks. All movies are rated PG and will be shown on inflatable screens.

The event began in 2009 and runs during spring and fall months. City officials said each event usually brings between 150-300 individuals. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to accompany the show. Children must be accompanied by parents.
