The public has a chance to learn about potential improvements to Glade Road in Colleyville at a public meeting May 23.
A design team and city officials will be at the meeting to talk about improvement options on different segments of the road.
The city hired TransSystems to do the preliminary design study on the four-mile segment of Glade from Precinct Line Road to Heritage Avenue — the key east-west route across the city.
The same company did a study on the road in 2012 and found significant crash numbers that could be lowered with improvements.
The meeting is scheduled 6-8 p.m. at Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive, according to a release from Cooksey Communications, the public relations firm handling communications on the project.
The open house-type event will include a 7 p.m. presentation and a question-and-answer period.
