By the close of early voting, the totals in Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake were close to the number of voters who came to the polls in 2008.

A total of 9,627 voted at Colleyville City Hall, compared to 8,787 in 2008; and at the Grapevine Community Activities Center, 13,298 voted compared to 14,089. More voted early at Southlake Town Hall, a total of 22,114 compared to 14,221 in 2008.

Countywide, a total of 387,338 people voted early, compared to 431,799 in 2008.

Grapevine has two bond proposals at the bottom of the ballot this year, one for $38.6 million in general obligation bonds for a new public safety building, and another for $30.1 million for renovation and additions to the Community Activities Center.
