Fourteen neighborhood streets in Colleyville are getting a makeover starting this month.
Every year, Colleyville allocates $1 million of its budget to road resurfacing and repair.
As construction crews try to minimize the inconvenience, the city warns that traffic delays and limited access to neighborhoods should be expected.
While all properties in the areas planned for street repair and maintenance will be accessible from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., access may be limited from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Colleyville crews will rebuild the existing pavement, add new asphalt and make repairs to curbs in the following locations:
- Brookridge Drive
- Chapelwood Drive
- Chapelwood Court
- Cliffwood Drive
- Cottage Oak Lane
- Maplewood Trail
- Pembrooke Parkway West
- Shadowood Road
- Shadowood Trail
In addition to road repairs, workers will replace the waterline at Cottage Oak Lane, Maplewood Trail and Pembrooke Parkway West.
Crews will also seal existing pavements with surface cracks to extend its lifespan from five to seven years, and make repairs to curbs in the following locations:
- Indian Trail Court
- Scarborough Lane
- Woodbine Drive
- Woodcrest Court
- Woodcrest Lane
All the projects should be complete by the end of the summer. For more information, call the city's Public Works Department at 817-503-1090.
