The newly approved calendar marks Aug. 19, 2020, as the first day of school and May 27, 2021, as the last. Graduation will take place May 29, 2021.
There will be approximately 173 total instructional days, according to the approved calendar. In addition to major holidays and professional development days for teachers, students will have vacations in November, December and March.
• Fall break: Nov. 23-27, 2020
• Winter break: Dec. 21, 2020-Jan. 3, 2021
• Spring break: March 15-19, 2021
School will also be closed Election Day, Nov. 3, since several campuses will be used as polling locations. School will also be closed Nov. 2, the day before Election Day, for a district holiday.
