The city of McKinney has announced that a third mosquito spray will be conducted, following a recent confirmation of West Nile virus carrying mosquitos in the area.

The spray will take place Wednesday, Oct. 3, starting at 10 p.m. within an approximately one-mile radius of Old Settlers Aquatic Center, located at 1101 E. Louisiana St.

As reported by Community Impact Newspaper in a previous article, the city advises residents within the spray area to stay inside during the spray, as well as bring in their pets and their food and water bowls.
